This song is about fair-weather christians and people who let their depression take hold of who they are. The first verse is talking about religion and people who won't take a second look at their beliefs just because they think they are right. It's also about those people that won't let anyone share their opinions and beliefs because they have a mental wall saying no to everything.

The second verse is about letting everything people say get to you. It's about breaking down and giving up on the people you love and those who love you.
